 Mike Wittlin
As President/CEO of Mike Wittlin Productions, Mr. Wittlin is a dynamic force in the motion picture industry. He is known throughout the industry for producing top quality films with reasonable budgets. As a producer, Wittlin’s projects have attracted a multitude of talented directors and actors. Mr. Wittlin’s producing style has been described as both “hands on” and “patient”. A creative visionary with a focus on results, Wittlin delivers the winning combination of artistic merit and innate business acumen.
Mr. Wittlin began his career in the film industry when he partnered with actor, writer and director, Corbin Bernsen as vice president of Public Media Works. After collaborating on many projects with Mr. Bernsen, and becoming the largest stockholder in the company, Mr. Wittlin went out on his own where he co-founded and was President/CEO of Smithfield Street Productions. With his entrepreneurial drive and engaging leadership style, Mr. Wittlin has held senior-level executive positions in the real estate, financial services, development, and technology industries.
Mr. Wittlin was co-founder/chairman of an award-winning enterprise level technology company. Under his leadership, the company formed strategic alliances with Toshiba, Compaq, Fijitsu, Siemens and Microsoft, successfully raised more than $54 million dollars of venture and angel capital and was recognized for its excellence in more than 40 technology publications.
During his tenure as president of Pittsburgh-based Metro Real Estate Services, Mr. Wittlin was responsible for unprecedented growth where the company more than doubled its size in three years. The company produced an annual sales volume of more than $350 million dollars and was sold to Coldwell Banker in October of 1997.
Born and raised in Mount Lebanon, a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA, he is a graduate of Penn State University.
